Boon Cooking for a Cause Experience: make lasagna with love and learn how you can be a part of an international movement to spread kindness and feed families with this simple comfort food.
A passionate home cook will walk you through making delicious lasagnas - one for you, and one that we encourage you to share with someone in need. This experience was inspired by Lasagna Love, a non-profit started in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic by a mother on a mission to make and deliver meals to families in her neighborhood who were struggling - whether it be financially, emotionally, or physically. Since then, the grassroots organization has connected over 25,000 volunteers with families in need in their communities - they’ve fed more than half a million people with over 130,000 lasagnas! As part of this experience, we will help you connect with your local chapter of Lasagna Love if desired. We welcome you to join us even if you are not able to volunteer with this incredible organization, and hope that this experience will give you a renewed appreciation for the power of food to spread thoughtfulness and joy in your community.
Fifty percent of this Boon Experience will give back - 40% to the cause that matters most to you, and 10% to Lasagna Love.
